FAQs

 Q.  I am a member of the NWAFP but cannot attend a meeting, may I send someone in my place?

A.  A member may send a substitute to a meeting in which they cannot attend.  To send a subsitute the member must register for the meeting and list the name of the substitute when registering.

Q.  May I bring a guest to the meeting?

A.  Guests are welcome on a space-available basis. In the 2012-2013 season, NWAFP began to offer to its members the option to bring one guest to each of the meetings at no additional cost. For a list of upcoming meetings and registration, click here.

Q:  I would like to volunteer with the NWAFP.  Who should I contact?

A.  There are many ways to volunteer with the NWAFP.  Please contact us at membership@nwafp.org for further details.

Q.  I have a topic I would like to present to the membership at a monthly meeting.  Is this possible?

A.  Annually the NWAFP assembles a group of professionals in the area to guide the choice of topics for meetings. Topics must be timely, relevant to large portions of the membership, and may not include a sales pitch. The NWAFP prefers presentations developed by its members, such as case studies of treasury management. If you have a topic that you would like to submit for consideration, please write membership@nwafp.org.

Q.  How can I contact NWAFP members regarding a business opportunity.

A.  The NWAFP does not share its membership list with those outside of the NWAFP or related organizations.

Q.  Where is the monthly meeting located?

A.  NWAFP meetings are held at McCormick & Schmick's Harborside, located at 1200 Westlake Ave N. in Seattle. If riding the bus, use King County Metro bus routes 40 or 62; the restaurant is also within walking distance of a stop on the Seattle Streetcar.  The NWAFP encourages ride sharing to its meetings.
