Why should I join?

No matter where you are in your career, treasury professionals will benefit by joining the Northwest Association for Financial Professionals (NWAFP)

Learn "Best Practices" by networking with other treasury professionals to discuss current issues and trends.

Hear about "Hot Topics" from an impressive array of keynote speakers. Keep your company current on issues affecting treasury, such as new technologies, recently-enacted laws, the global treasury environment and risk management.

Certification-Further your knowledge and increase your company's performance by earning or maintaining the Certified Treasury Professional® (CTP) credential. You can also earnContinuing Professional Education (CPE) credits by attending NWAFP meetings.

Volunteer with the NWAFP by serving on the Board of Directors or one of the organization's committees.  We also organize community involvement activities.

What are the benefits of joining?

Monthly meetings offer members and guests the opportunity to network with other treasury professionals and discuss relevant treasury management issues while hearing formal presentations and participating in group discussions. Topics focus on domestic and international treasury management issues, banking relations, investments, capital markets, economics, legislation and technology. Monthly meetings are held during lunch to facilitate both knowledge transfer as well as networking opportunities. Attendance at the NWAFP monthly meetings and lunchis included in membership fees.

NWAFP also organizes networking opportunities after work hours in social settings.  

Members enjoy discounted admission to the Northwest Summit Regional Conference and Certified Treasury Professional® (CTP) preparation classes and study sessions.  

Members are also eligible for CTP renewal credit by becoming a NWAFP member, attending NWAFP meetings, and serving on the Board of Director.



What are the costs of membership?

The NWAFP offers three types of membership.

  • Corporate Practitioners $200/yr Reduced for Jan-May to $100
  • Bankers and Financial Service Providers $300/year  Reduced for Jan-May to $150 
  • Volunteers on the Board of Directors $150/year

As space permits, guests and other members of the professional community are welcome to attend individual meetings at a cost of $45 per meeting.
